Meet Our Physical Therapist David Jennings

David Jennings is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and brings over 10 years of experience working with elite athletes, weekend warriors, and individuals of all activity levels to Franklin and Nashville Regenerative Orthopedics.

David’s History and Experience:

David graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Athletic Training where he worked with the nationally ranked football program. He then spent 2 years at Louisiana State University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the nationally ranked and recognized track and field teams and women’s soccer team.

Upon completion of his Masters in Exercise Physiology, he moved to Nashville to work at Vanderbilt University and take care of the track and field and cross-country teams, helping the women’s team to their first SEC cross-country championship. He moved on to physical therapy school at Belmont University and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 after which he was the first to complete the Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute and obtained his SCS.

He is certified in Dry Needling and uses a hands-on approach with all of his patients. He is skilled at analyzing movement patterns and breaking down compensations and dysfunction. He enjoys working with runners, endurance athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to feel better. When he isn’t in the clinic he is spending time with his wife Ashlyn and two sons- Grayson and Hayes or golfing and running.
